The one-minute film: visual story
A concept that has not connected
A teacher has written 2 : 3 on the board. A child copies it, then hesitates over the next problem. The teacher notices the class needs another way into the idea.
The teacher imagines a game
She sketches a fruit-drink stand with two orange parts and three blue parts. On her laptop she sets the objective: Understand ratios. Her request reads: Make a fruit-drink game. Change the orders. Keep the recipe in proportion. A playable draft takes shape.
Preview, then send
The teacher previews the ratio game and reviews it. With Class 6B already selected, she clicks Send to Class 6B. Learners turn to their tablets and laptops and open the experience.
Try, compare and apply
A drink has too much water. Feedback invites the learner to keep the same recipe. The learner corrects the quantities to 400 ml fruit and 600 ml water. A new 750 ml order uses 300 ml fruit and 450 ml water, preserving 2 : 3 without a hint. The child recognises the relationship.
Make the learning visible
The teacher's class view shows different attempts, revisions, hint use and independent application. Some learners need another example. The learning evidence describes the journey behind each result.
Choose a useful next step
The Learning & Progress Assistant highlights that some learners keep the ratio but miss the order size. It suggests comparing two batch sizes. The teacher opens a progress report and considers what to do next.
The same class, a different learning moment
